We like to keep costs as simple as possible, so delivery is free for all orders over £50! (UK only)
For orders under £50 there is a flat delivery charge of £3.95.

We are proud to send all orders out in pre-used or recyclable packaging, contributing to a more sustainable future. We use paper tape and packing materials to make it easier for you to recycle too.

Standard (3-5 day service)
£3.95 – Your order should arrive within 5 working days from ordering.
Express: (2-3 day service)
£6.95 Fast-track your order and we will send it out in 1-2 working days on a 24 hour service. You should receive it within 3 working days from ordering.
Where’s My Stuff?
We are parents too. We know how hard it is to constantly chase your tail, feeling the panic of last-minute ‘Argh it’s this week’ so we try and get things out as quickly as possible. But we are in the hands of the delivery gods… and although we choose the best, sometimes even they run late. Please email us on hello@secretbookshop.co.uk if you want to check the status of your order.
Rarely, unavoidable things like bad weather, postal strikes (or pandemics!) can delay an order. If this happens, we or our delivery partner will contact you to arrange a new delivery date. We will let you know as soon as your order is on its way.
Returns
We hope you’ll love your goodies, but if for any reason you’re not happy, we want to know as soon as possible so we can make it better. Email us within 14days with of receiving your order at hello@secretbookshop.co.uk with your order reference number and photos of the issue. We will happily arrange a return and refund, replacement or exchange.

All products must be packed securely to avoid damage and we recommend using a tracked service as we cannot refund anything we don’t receive.
Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned items.
